This is the fourth of my concert pieces. I composed this piece for University of the Arts senior trombonist Jarred Antonacci, who performed it in his senior recital during the spring of 2009. This piece explores the entire range of the instrument, and makes use of the F-attachment in some experimental ways. This is the first concert piece to feature a brass instrument, so I made efforts to be sure that the music reflected the personality of the trombone. The recording is from Jarred's performance, with Gina DiMedio accompanying on the piano.
