Jon
Botbyl
Trombonist Jon Botbyl has been
a member of LHJO since 2002. He received his Bachelors Degree in
Jazz Performance
from the University of the Arts in 2003 and has been working
professionally as a musician since then.
He has performed with a long list of musicians, including John
Fedchock, New York Voices, Bob Mintzer,
Bill Watrous, and Debbie Gibson. In the studio he has recorded
with, among others, Will Smith, R. Kelly,
Gerald Levert, John Legend, and recently performed on the "Robots"
soundtrack. Aside from being a member of the
LHJO, Jon also is a steady member of the Sid Miller Orchestra and the
Jay Webb Sextet.
Jon's experience as a musician also includes serving as a musician on
Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
